Before creating a plan I brain stormed things which I need to do throughout my project. This is shown on the left.
In this brainstorm I started with the compulsory pieces of paperwork such as the PPR, title verification and the actual final product. From this I added things which will help me to get to my final product such as research, experimentation and this blog. From this mind map I created a table which included each item, roughly how long it would take and how important it is. This table was helpful as it allowed me to assess each item individually (time frame) as well as in relation to other items (importance). Using the table I was able to easily create a Gantt Chart, which is shown below. I chose to use a Gantt Chart for my Long Term plan because even though they may be a bit complex to create I think that they allow me to see clearly how long I have left for an item and what should be done my now.
